When the leafs signed Hagman it immediately addressed team needs.The Leafs have help now in three key areas in which they were most in need:: the penalty kill, the forecheck and team speed.

He gets results but needs to learn to turn his game up in the post season. Played in a winning environment. Reliable player. Mentally tough and doesnt ever get intimidated. Very detailed hockey player and plays on both sides of the rink. Ron wants him to play more than he played in Dallas. Hagman's new contract includes a no-movement clause through June 1, 2009.
