The Toronto Maple Leafs Fans Zone Guidelines:The Board Moderators will not be in charge of deleting posts or banning users. They will alert the webmasters to posts that fall outside of the established guidelines by using the “report��?post feature. What follows will be the guidelines for the zones Boards.1. Posts contain racial slurs, xenophobic statements, or are sexually explicit in comments.2. Posts that contain what the moderators consider vulgar language. If one has to wonder if it is vulgar, it probably is.3. Any post that circumnavigates the obscenity filter by using characters such as ! or $.4. Anyone claiming to be a player, coach, GM or other public figure. If you are indeed one of these people, please send an e-mail to the “support��?e-mail and we will try to confirm beyond a reasonable doubt.5. Any outlandish claims of inside info. This includes knowing families or players, or having some kind of inside info on figures in the public eye.6. Any exposing of personal information of fellow posters and public figures will be deleted, or posts that contain defamation of character of public figures.7. Posts that exhibit continued and repeated harassment of fellow posters who may have an opposing viewpoint will be under the judgment of the moderators. There is a line that gets crossed at times, and if you have to think about whether it offensive or not, the odds are that line got crossed. If a post gets personal in it’s attacks, it will be deleted.8. Any reprinting of copyrighted information and material. This includes newspaper articles and scouting service information. Posting of private material will not be tolerated and deleted immediately.9. Any spamming (same post on multiple boards) or posting links to similar websites as HF will be deleted. Linking to sites that can be deemed offensive will be deleted as well.10. Please use the “personal message��?feature. Do not post “Hey UserX, check your e-mail��?BR>11. New threads that are the exact same as existing threads will be merged or deleted.12. If you reply to a post that is offensive, please do not be upset when the thread gets deleted. By responding to “trolls��? you are only encouraging their behavior.13. We will not police anyone’s right to post outside of these guidelines, but HF reserves the right to delete any messages or accounts.14. Threads that have long ceased to be about the original topic and have devolved into personal squabbles will be deleted or closed.Warning Process:1. If a user crosses the line, a “personal message��?or e-mail will be sent alerting one to the transgression. It is not The Zones s responsibility if you ignore it, delete it, or just overlook it. One written warning is all that will be given.2. If it continues, your account will be locked for one week and you will not be able to post. It will be the user’s responsibility to alert the webmaster to lift the restriction after the one week is served.3. Continued abuse of the HF Guidelines will result in your account being deleted and your IP banned. Any reinstatement will be under the discretion of management of the toronto maple leafs fans zone
What you got to know before you join this join this group!

Number 1: You must have a msn passport inorder to join any msn group
Number 2: You must not swear, advertise before the approval of a manager or an assitant manager
Number 3: If you harass a member in a group, you will be banned (hockey terms: suspended)
Number 4: ANYTHING THAT IS NOT REALATED TO HOCKEY IS NOT ALLOWED if it is tasteless or controversial.
Number 5: Follow the Privacy Policy we've made
Number 6: You May NOT have names which include or consist of a swear word!
Number7 If you post only non sensical annoying posts like go leafs go or dissing other posters your membership will be revoked and your posts will be deleted without warning!

Had a small problem wit ha former assistant manager linking the join page for the zone to his community So instead of joing the huge fans zone they were joinging the 15 member fan web :)Sorry to all who wanted to join our nice community and were tricked! E-MAIL
1. Respect ALL people even if they are not LEAF fans.

2. Carry on discussions in a civilized manner. It is ok to disagree but it is not ok to be nasty and hateful. I do understand the passion behind our love for our team and sometimes it kinda gets a little nasty and I am ok with that as long as it don't get TOO nasty.

3. PLEASE NO LINKS that are not related to hockey. If you would like to share a personal link please feel free to POST IT ON THE MESSAGE BOARD. . . I especially don't want any non-hockey advertising or anything. If you have something for sale or trade that is Maple LEAFS or hockey related post it on the appropriate board.

4. If you have any problems with anyone on the Zone that is sending nasty comments to you personally send an email to MSN about them. I cannot do anything about that. I can ban them from the Zone but that is all. I can't do that if they are not doing anything wrong here. Personal battles are just that ...personal.

5. PLEASE NO POINTLESS BAD-MOUTHING OF THE LEAFS!! You don't have to like them to be on the Zone but you sure better be respectful of them and their fans! GO LEAFS GO!

6. No dating in the zone you can exchange e-mails but if it isnt mutual. Just complain to me I'll bad the member and you can add them to block on your msn messenger or email andwherever else.
